Hi, I'm April, founder of BEBA Studio. My aesthetic was shaped by years spent in San Francisco, where the iconic light, architectural character, and visual restraint influenced the way I compose a frame. Over more than two decades behind the camera, including 9 years of directed, people-centered work, I've developed an approach rooted in natural light, intentional composition, and imagery that feels polished and alive.
Now based in the Pacific Northwest, I photograph families, motherhood, newborns, actors, founders, and brand stories through a lifestyle lens. My work is not about stiff posing or overly produced moments. It is about creating images that feel grounded, visually honest, and effortlessly refined.
Most people do not want to feel managed in front of a camera, but they also do not want to be left guessing. I guide when needed, shape the environment with care, and handle the technical complexity behind the lens so the experience feels easy while the final images feel elevated, natural, and lasting.

Why I built BEBA Studio
I founded BEBA Studio because I wanted to offer something different. The process of getting great photos often feels heavy—tangled in slow emails, confusing galleries, and friction at every turn. I knew it could be better, so I built it myself.
I designed this studio to be a seamless extension of your life or brand. Because I've hand-crafted every part of the BEBA experience—from the custom booking system to the streamlined way you view and download your gallery—every detail is optimized to save you time and keep the focus on what matters.
My goal is to give you a space where the technicals are handled, the direction is calm, and the results are refined.
